DTU’s “How to Write a Scientific Paper” course has been helping PhD students, Postdocs, and scientific researchers improve their scientific writing skills since 2009. This spring, the course welcomed 42 new participants, bringing the total number of participants to 850. The course covers a wide range of topics, including how to structure a scientific paper, how to write clear and concise sentences, and how to avoid common mistakes. Participants also receive feedback on their writing from experienced instructors. The success of the course can be seen in the many publications that have resulted from it. Participants have gone on to publish their research in top-tier journals, and many have received awards for their work.
