Intensive one-to-one English
What is the aim of this course?
English one-to-one is a language course with you as the sole student. The aim of the course is to assist you with your personal requirements in written and spoken English.
Who could benefit from this?
For all staff members and employees who require individual tuition will find this form of instruction useful. The course will be specifically tailored to your needs.
How is the teaching planned?
To assess your level of English before the course starts, we will invite you to take the Oxford Online Placement Test. The instructor will use the result of the test to plan the teaching in accordance with your level of English.
What does the teaching contain?
During a pre-course meeting, you and your instructor will get to know each other and discuss what you want to include in the course. Your instructor will then carefully adapt the course to your wishes and requirements.
You may wish to include, for example:
- improvement of email correspondence
- writing reports and summaries
- development of subject specific vocabulary
- mastery of key elements of grammar
- pronunciation practice
- presentations
Who are the instructors?
Our staff consists of experienced instructors who are either native English speakers or Danish instructors who are fluent speakers of English. You will get an instructor whose experience and skills best match your needs.
When does the teaching take place?
You will schedule the sessions with your instructor.
How much does it cost? How many hours of teaching?
The course consists of 30 x 45-minute sessions to be scheduled either over 10 meetings of 2 hours and 15 minutes or 15 meetings of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The cost is DKK 16,000 excluding VAT. Books and other course materials are included in the price.
